The Piano House

A house that I fell in love with (sounds kind of gay, but hell) immediately after I saw it on Oddee.com.

It is currently still being constructed as an attraction for Huainan, Anhui in Shanghai by the local government.

There are very few photos of this project, but what can I say other than emphasise how beautiful/majestic/cool it looks?

Oddee.com - Oddity Blog

Oddee.com is a blog showing us some of the world oddities, in people and in business alike. Here is a picture of an occurrences of a badly placed ad within a situation that is well, less desirable. There are other articles there as well, such as other unfortunately placed ads, amazing illusions and more. A must-read!

SMRT fined up to nearly $400,000

SMRT fined $400,000 for causing severe train disruption

THE Land Transport Authority (LTA) has fined SMRT nearly $400,000 for causing severe disruption to train services betwen the Tanah Merah and Pasir Ris MRT stations on Jan 21.

Services were interrupted for seven hours and 17 minutes because one portion of a maintenance train hit another parked portion during routine maintenance works.

SMRT fined? That isn't all good news, you know.

I'm pretty sure SMRT is capable of just increasing their fare prices, AGAIN, and cover this up in no time. I ’m sure we commuters would not mind squeezing into the train, feel free to reduce our train frequency as well.

So, who pays?

Halal Food - Unite or Divide?

I saw this on Tomorrow.sg and thought this could be an interesting read for everyone.

Ridzwan.com said:

A principal of a primary school in Singapore incited enmity in the online world not too long ago. His felony: dictating that non-Halal food should not be allowed in his school canteen. Several netizens responded in anger at the news and vowed to boycott all eating outlets with a Halal sign on it.
The ongoing debate is there, and well, Singaporeans being Singaporeans, they discuss and open fire on so many issues, yet they maintain their anonymity. But that's not the problem, the discussions about Halal vs Non-Halal is very insightful for all, so do check out the analysis and the debate.

By the way, Char Siew or Friendship is still rather weak and superficial. Maybe Char Siew or Marriage is slightly more realistic.

Ken Lee

So you ask, what (or even who) the heck is Ken Lee? For a start, it's not this woman, her name is Valentina Hasan, a 29-year-old aspiring to be the next Music Idol, Bulgaria edition. Watch her sing Mariah Carey's "Without You" in erm, English.

"Ken Lee... Tulibu dibu douchoo..."

Spotting The Escapee

The escaped terrorist leader, being made fun of. Okay, maybe this isn't a laughing matter, but I still can't help it. Hilarious!

The most dangerous fugitive escapes in the most ridiculous way possible, from the worst ever security lapse in such a high-security center. I'm so thinking that this is a set-up to catch all the bigger fish in the terrorism network, after they have secretly planted an anal probe up his ass.

Talkingcock.com also released this trendy terrorist spotter for you to have it printed and kept in your wallet! A contribution to national security!

Raptured! Left Behind Video Game

Synopsis of this game from Wikipedia:

"The player joins a Christian organization (known as the Tribulation Force) who are fighting the forces of the Antichrist (known as the Global Community Peacekeepers, loosely modeled on the United Nations Peacekeepers). The game is based on the evangelical Christian Left Behind series of books."

Pretty interesting!

On a personal note, I've finally passed my driving test! Now I'm a qualified Class 3 driver. Hoho.
